Team adventure in Gla Forest

The area is excellent for group activities. We can offer hiking, canoeing, fishing, windbreaks, and overnight cabins. We are also able to arrange contests such as different swedish games and canoe races. It is also possible to order something to eat and drink at the major rest places or at the bigger locals. We cooperate with the local population that can arrange catering and guided tours. Many school classes and groups visit Gla Forest. For that reason there are special places in the area (see the Gla Forest map) with vast areas suitable for activities and camps for groups. To use these places you need to buy the Glaskogen card, but they cannot be booked in advance.

Camping grounds for groups that can be booked in advance:

Trångstad 1 km from Lenungshammar, next to the lake Stora Gla. At the camping grounds there is room for tents, dry closets, drinking water and a fire place. The price is 35 SEK per person and night.

Bråten 6 km from Lenungshammar, located 200-300 metres from Stora Gla. At the camping grounds there is room for tents, dry closets, drinking water and a fire place. The price is 35 SEK per person and night.

Laskerud is located 1.5 kilometres south of Lenungshammar. Here there is a camping ground, a fire place, a dry closet, a cottage and a barn. The place is located in a clearing in the middle of the forest, only 1 km away from the lake Stora Gla. In the cottage there are 2 rooms and a kitchen, there are 6 beds, kitchen equipment, hot plates and a fridge. Drinking water is on the outside and there are dry closets. The equipment in the barn is simple with chairs and tables and the possibility to sleep on ground sheets. The price for tenting is 35 SEK/person/night, fr 350 SEK for the cottage and 200 SEK for the barn.

Meeting places:
The Karl XII:s cottage, an old-fashioned log cabin with 1 room and a kitchen. In the main room there is an open fire and places to sit for 30 people. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and a dishwasher. Outside there is a dry closet. Slide projector, TV, video, flip-chart etc. can be arranged upon request.

Price: 350 SEK for half a day, 600 SEK for the entire day. Cleaning 300 SEK
